The gold Deathlayers are a new breed I started working with in May 2025. I acquired my original stock from Greenfire Farm in Florida.

They truly have an exotic down pattern that is sure to catch your attention! They are very active little babies that just want to run all over the place! With a little bit of work I have been able to cup the chicks in the palm of my hand for pets/snuggles. I hope to continue building a good trusting relationship with this breed.

I have been hesitant to get a white layer breed as many are very flighty. I will make honest updates regarding temperament as they grow and mature. I primarily work with breeds that are very friendly and inquisitive so you backyard flock families can raise them as pets! Perhaps for you second or third year chicken owners who want to get adventurous with a new breed, this could be a fun challenge for you. There is no doubt they will steal the spotlight in your backyard!!
