I'm delighted you are placing an order of baby chicks and/or hatching eggs with Sunshine Gardens Poultry! To complete your order please provide the following information at check out:

Fulfilling Orders - Orders are filled based on date they are received, first come first serve basis. I typically reach out one to two weeks before your order is ready to give you ample time to set-up your brooder or incubator. If you will be out of town, please leave a note of the dates that do not work for pickup, and we can schedule around those dates. Please keep in mind, I am working with LIVING CREATURES. I can only offer what they produce and nothing more.
Straight Run Orders - Straight run means you WILL receive males and females in your order. If you can't keep males after they start crowing, you are responsible for rehoming or processing the extra males. I have resources available to help you learn the basics of butchering -OR- I have a contact in St Paul, MN who manages a Rooster Sanctuary.
ALL Baby Chick Orders - You are receiving healthy, strong chicks from healthy breeding stock. I will guarantee baby chicks within 24 hours of receiving your order. Once they are in your care you are responsible for proper temperature requirements, feed, water, and adequate brooder space. Please read Chick Care Guide Provided at pick-up. It is your responsibility to do additional research regarding chicken keeping.

Hatching Eggs
- I ensure all hatching eggs are collected promptly each day and stored in proper storage conditions. Your eggs that you will receive are guaranteed to be 1 to 6 days at the oldest to maximize viability.
- You agree that once you receive your hatching eggs that ALL incubation methods are out of my control and your hatch rate is highly dependent on temperature and humidity. I do not give refunds based on 'bad' hatches from improper incubation. I hatch weekly and keep detailed notes of every hatch and fertilization rates. Please review my Incubation Tips and tricks sheet provided with every hatching egg purchase. Do additional research to ensure you understand hatching requirements for chicken eggs.

Order Cancellation Policy - A $20 cancellation charge will be deducted from your refunded total. Orders that are cancelled 48 hours from pickup date scheduled with me are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you have an unexpected conflict with your schedule and our pre-arranged pick-up date, you may reschedule for a new pick-up date ONE time without penalty. If you fail to meet for the second date we schedule, you may no longer reschedule with me, and I will refund your order minus a $20 surcharge.
Sunshine Gardens Poultry does not offer any vaccinations at this time.
