Hi! Just giving a little update now that it’s been a week. We love this guy! He’s just so chill, the kids can hold him and it’s not the end of the world 😂. He comes up to greet us anytime we’re near his area and tries to perch on my arm. We were impressed with his size when we first brought him home! I love the bigger, dual purpose birds (which our oldest hens are not), so it was nice to see the difference in conformation going more towards what our goal is. (Plus I’m sure smaller vs commercial breeding makes a big difference!). Overall he’s been settling in nicely. We’ve been super, super happy with him and can’t wait to see how he continues to fill out!

I ordered chicks to place under a broody hen. Mama Hen has adopted them and the chicks are following her everywhere and doing well!

Lovely to work with, easy ordering and pick up. Purchased 6-8 week old pullets and was given older birds near laying age, perfect for our purposes. Hens have been easy to care for and very friendly.
