Heritage Plymouth Barred Rock

Heritage Plymouth Barred Rock (BR):

Heritage bred barred rocks are known for their more distinct barring pattern. Unlike production lines, Heritage BR are a wonderful dual-purpose bird, producing a good number of eggs and nice carcass weight for processing.

This line was acquired from Cackle Hatchery in spring of 2027, who recently added phenomenal stock from well-known breed, Kraig Shafer in 2020.

These would make a great 4H selection for your kids! Friendly large-bodied birds.
