Ermine Ameraucana: Limited Quantities for 2027
If you're looking for some stellar ameraucana genetics, these Ermine are for you. I acquired these in spring of 2026 from Brad Stonebarger at Triples Farm out of OK. Brad has some of the nicest blacks I've seen. It was a privilege to be able to hatch some from his line.
My Ermine Breeding pen will be set-up as follows:
Ermine over black, or black over Ermine. This will create a 50/50 split Ermine chicks/Black chicks.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're looking for 100% ermine chicks, please do your research when talking with breeders. The only combination that will give you 100% ermine, is a pen setup with Dominate white bred to an all-black bird. As you can see in the color breeding chart, most combinations will only produce 50% Ermine offspring. So, for my breeding goals, the above crossing meets my goals the best.
